Industry trade fair. Covers the entire industry, from components and systems to applications and services, and it all industry segments. With 72,185 visitors, 2,578 exhibitors, 142,500 m² of exhibition space in 12 halls and 541 journalists, it is the benchmark of the electronics industry.

Added-value trade fair. electronica promotes dialog and an interdisciplinary exchange: Four theme-oriented forums, the electronica automotive conference, the Wireless Congress, the Job Forum and the CEO Roundtable provide the perfect platform for doing so.

Innovation trade fair. electronica 2012 focuses on topics with dynamic innovative drive such as e-mobility/automotive, embedded solutions, smart energy solutions and power electronics.

Decision-maker trade fair. electronica is the gathering for everyone on the electronics market who has something to say: 90% of all visitors are decision-makers, and 57% hold management positions.

Developer's trade fair. This is underscored by the share of visitors who primarily deal with the development (39%), design (14%) and engineering (8%) of electronic components and applications.

International trade fair. A 47% share of foreign visitors representing 76 countries proves that the most important markets now and in the future look to electronica for orientation.

Leading trade fair. As demonstrated by top marks in the visitor survey, the fair received a rating of good to excellent for the scope and completeness of its exhibits (97% of visitors), for the presence of market leaders (94%) and for its character as a leading trade fair (95%).
